The Anir Foundation was founded by Adrienne Belafonte Biesemeyer and her daughter Rachel Blue Biesemeyer with the goal being to offer North Americans an opportunity to learn about Africa from an experiential perspective be it by volunteering or by classrooms without walls.
It is astounding how many North Americans refer to Africa as a country, not considering it is the second largest continent at approxamently 11,677,239 Square Miles (30,244,049 Square Km).
